How this one is built

Built to order from a new sealed LEGO® Technic Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line. The portal axles and locking differentials are built early, so we test them before the body goes on, then check the steering, suspension, inline-6 pistons, doors, bonnet and tailgate before packing. The mirrors and the outer body panels are the vulnerable parts, so it ships as a bulky parcel in a custom-cut foam cradle. Spot-gluing fixes the body panels and mirrors and leaves the steering, suspension, differential locks, doors, bonnet and tailgate working. Fits the Tabletop case in Large.
