The studio

Plenty of people want the finished piece more than the weekend of building, especially adults buying for a shelf, a wall or someone else. Until now nobody in South Africa sold the finished object, framed and cased properly, with honest notes about glue and condition.

So that is what we do: build sets to display standard, size frames and cases to real sets, and do the same for sets people already own.

Michael runs the studio. Every set is built by hand, in instruction order, and checked before it is packed. Every bench card names the person who built the piece and the date it was finished.

Ready-built sets start as new, sealed sets, priced at typical South African retail plus our published build and finish fee, so you can see exactly what the work costs. We do not build ready-built sets from loose or second-hand parts. Studio services work on the set you send us.

Glue is a choice, never a surprise. Every set leaves unglued unless you choose spot-gluing, and the bench card records which it is. Why we are careful about glue.

Brickwright is not part of, and is not endorsed by, the LEGO Group. We build with genuine LEGO® bricks bought at retail like anyone else. The pictures on this site are our own drawings; they will be replaced with our own photographs, never with LEGO Group images.

We are based in South Africa and deliver nationwide. Studio town: to be confirmed. The studio address is not published: collection is by arrangement only, and we email the address once an order is paid.
